Accreditation of labor protection management and occupational safety

Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems certification is provided by certification bodies to organizations that demonstrated they implemented an occupational health and safety management system.

OHSMS is a structure that enables an organization to consistently identify and control health and safety risks, to reduce the likelihood of accidents, to promote compliance with health and safety legislation and continually improve its operation.

A certification body applying for OHSMS accreditation under ISO 45001: 2018 and OHSAS 18001 must comply with ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO 17021-10 and UAF: CAB: OHSAS and other additional international requirements detailed in the Specific Accreditation Requirements for the OHSMS Scheme.
